The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum is set within 40 acres / 16 hectares that make up Mount Clare Station, which claims to be the oldest railroad depot in the western hemisphere. Exhibits feature nearly 200 pieces of well-preserved rail equipment from bygone days as well as offering visitors the chance to ride some classic locomotives.

Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum is one of city's most popular and is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the four National Historic Landmarks and their related artifacts. At the weekend there are tours available of the USS Torsk submarine, conducted by war veterans. Visitors can also take self-guided tours of the three WWII vessels moored nearby.

Babe Ruth Museum

Among the many exhibits are a garment loft, a period machine shop, a 19th-century print shop, a library with more than 5,000 rare books, and the 1906 steam tugboat, ST Baltimore.

Streetcar Museum
